I love...

...Mornings with Isaac. We're already practicing good dental hygiene - but he chews on the toothbrush more than he brushes his teeth! I think his PJ's are my favorite outfits too.

Confession

I have a confession to make: our dog is driving me crazy.

It's not that she's misbehaving {that much} or really being a bad dog in general. She's actually very well-behaved and she listens to us {for the most part}. Sure, she begs for food incessantly, and does her annoying, "I'm panting slightly more than normal, and slightly louder than normal so I KNOW you hear me, now give me some of your food!" attitude, she sheds all over the house, and tries to get into trouble when she's outside. But really, generally, she's a very good dog. She just....never leaves my side. I swear she's glued to my feet. I bet I've stepped on her five or more times today alone. If I leave for five minutes, she's so hyper excited when I return that I'm worried she's going to give herself a heart attack. Wherever I am, there she will be. The worst part about having this furry thing glued to me? She stares! All.the.time. And not just a concerned stare, it's more of a "you have a huge, monster zit on your face that everyone stares at" stare. In the recent past, she's even annoyed my dear husband so much that we joke about putting her in the $75 or less section of the local paper. We could never part with her, she's really a part of our family - I just wish she wouldn't be a creeper too.

Now, off to enjoy my husband, son, and creepy dog. :)

Cutest dish rack...ever. I'm so getting one after we move in and then OUT of my parents' house. Right now, we just dry everything on a bunch of towels {because our old drying rack is too bulky and ugly to boot}. I'll be happy to have a place to dry all of Isaac's dishes that is stylish too! Haven't you always wanted a patch of grass anyway? :) Plus, Blake's on board. Bonus!

Vitamins

Would you rather take vitamin A or vitamin(s) B?


Blake is trying to get me to commit to B since it's more expensive and the nutrition base knocks the crap out of the nutrition base of A. I am not jumping for joy at the idea of having to take 8 pills a day just as a prenatal vitamin, but since he invested in the giant tub of vitamin packs and I want the best for the baby, I suppose I'll give it a whirl.

Head band

So, my husband hates head bands. He thinks that I look like an almost 30-year-old trying to hold on to her teens. I don't know though, I really like this one:

I hate moving

It sucks to pack everything up anyway {which I'm actually not doing yet, but thinking about it is more than enough!}, but even more so when you don't even know where you're going. Temporarily, we will bunk with my parents. Party. :)

17 months

Happy 17 months to our little sweetie pea. He's becoming quite the talker. He can say the alphabet to letter "H" and then a few various letters until the end as well as quite a few words {mommy, daddy, see, boat, what, done, up, down, bubble, eye {I}, you, we, uh oh, wow, row, roll, eat, meet, rice, pea, apple, yeah, yay, hot, a whole slew of words in Chinese, and many more in English I can't think of at the moment}. He officially has 13 teeth and it's kind of freaky how he understands everything we say. Still, it's amazing to watch him learn and grow {even though it's all happening too fast!}.

You would never guess by this photo that he was about ready to cover me in vomit. Yes, vomit. About 15 minutes after I took this picture. Awesome. I hope he's feeling better soon though. It's so hard to watch your kids be sick - especially since I have no clue what he has, or where he would have gotten it! Poor little guy.

It's time

Even though I still feel like crap. :)

Baby #2 is due to arrive in early September!!! Remember this incident? We first learned about it at the ER when they wanted to take an x-ray. Surprise! I had such an easy pregnancy with Isaac that feeling like this in my second trimester is just completely unacceptable! Although, chasing around a very active toddler is probably not really helping my case. :) We're all very excited!

Colorful
