Life is great

Blake and I couldn't be happier! Here's the very first peek at our happy news:

And, 3 months later, look at how our little one is growing! I still can't believe that this little miracle has taken up residence inside me. Truthfully, I knew I was pregnant all the while, but after hearing the heartbeat and then having the ultrasound (I was measuring large, so Dr. ordered one to rule out twins!), I'm so in love and can't wait to meet this little person!

P.S. You have no idea how hard it was for me to keep from posting this on my blog for three months!

I stumbled across your blog one day randomly looking for a friend’s blog and was interested in your "Christmas Came Early" entry. I thought it was great how much family meant to you and read a few more of your entries. Since then, I hope you do not find it creepy, but I have followed along and fell in love with your family and how close everyone is and also how much God is involved in your life. I did not have a happy/loving childhood and knew it existed somewhere. You have inspired me to get back to praying with God and having God a part of my life. I never felt obligated to write anything on here until just now when I found out your happy news. I know you and your husband are going to be great parents. I will pray for you and your baby. Thank you for everything you have done for me. Congratulations!

Take good care of that fetus! And enjoy those sweet gray pants while you can.

Thank you for your comment! I had no idea my blog had touched someone's life the way it has touched yours. I am happy to know that my family and faith have inspired you in your life, and wish you all the best. Also, you're more than welcome to continue reading. I don't find it creepy in any way...I read blogs that the author's don't know about too. :) Maybe someday we can chat more.

Thanks again!
Becky
