Itchy

I hate winter because my skin gets dry and then I get itchy. Lately, however, it's been awful. I am itchy all over {especially on my back}! Sometimes, I can't get to sleep because I'm so itchy. I think I better see a doctor about this next week. I even have a small rash on my left shoulder blade. Putting aloe and Neosporin on it seems to help...but I hate being itchy, especially on that small spot of my back that is hard to reach!

Use Aveeno Lotion and have Blake "rub you in."

Try using lotion...

I hate to suggest this, but tanning beds help the winter itch if it is bad and you start getting dry patches on your skin. Also, only pat dry with your towel after a shower (not rubbing dry)and immediately put lotion on after you dry- Aveno is good. Also, put lotion on 2-3 times a day. All of these things should help!

Try using a cool mist humidifier, it helps a lot, I used to have this problem but not anymore. Winter heat reduces humidity.
