Sad news

I received word a little while ago, that Msgr. Petty passed away earlier this evening. His arrangements are pending, but I know that he was loved and will be missed by not only his family and friends, but an entire community. He was a great man who touched many lives.

Since he's been on a downward slide, he had picked out music for his funeral last week, and the choir has already begun working on it. I'm so happy that we had a little time to prepare. The music will never again have to be as perfect as I hope it is for his funeral.

May he rest in peace, and may his soul rejoice with God and His Angels in Heaven.
